If anyone asks me what my favorite city in Switzerland is, I will tell him Geneva without any confusion. Geneva is the second most popular city in Switzerland after Zurich. This city is located in the southern part of the country.

Travelers, including solo travelers, couples, and families, will enjoy this place. This city is expensive but not more expensive than Zurich. When I visited this city, I discovered that every visitor must visit 12 places that I enjoyed most. So here I’ll describe the 12 best things to do in Geneva, Switzerland.

This is a majestic fountain stealing the spotlight. The Jet d’Eau is a royal symbol of Geneva. This water fountain jets water that shoots over 140 meters into the air, consistently entertaining visitors. As this is one of the tallest water fountain jets in the world, it is a must-visit attraction in Geneva.
